I'm still playing the SB, but late last night I switched from touch of death to crushing hand. Had previously farmed up some ok gear so I wouldn't have to mess with tempering on the same set, and oh man....while the build feels slightly clunky compared to touch of death, it just absolutely wrecks shit. It's actually pretty funny.
I don't know. It seems my season progression is stuck on that co-op mission.
And the reason I'm saying that is, I thought at the end of the season I could craft Horde keys at the mythic.. I still can't. Am I doing it wrong?
You are doing nothing wrong. The IH compass is drop only now.
Anyone else having latency issues? Usually I am around 50-70ms, last couple days its like 150+ and world bosses like 2000+.
Other games I am normal, including WoW.. it seems they are struggling these days. But hey, haven't CTD in a day or two, I did roll back my Nvidia drivers from 566 to 560, and messed with page file sizes as well

Is cross play on? Turning that off can help, but no, no latency issues. I actually just moved to the 566 drivers, although a stripped down version, and the performance has been better with these.
There was a day, I think Wednesday, where I had a lot of serious lag that would not improve all day. My internet connection seemed fine with same ping to ISP it always does. But that was the only day since Season 1 where I had that issue, all good now.
Yeah they need to fix their game, they always like to blame the end-user (and yes, in most cases their the cause)
The game ran fine before the last big patch, and with the amount of hot-fixes they`ve released, they know its their code.
Its barely playable at this point, latency is averaging 150-500+. All other games are around 20-50.
World bosses peak around 2000+, and when that happens it wipes nearly every one at the site.
Hopefully the patch next week fixes this

Well the antivenin elixir is bugged right now and multiplies your health instead of increasing it by a percentage. I jumped from like 60k health to over 2 million when using one 
I've seen my Barb's overpower hits jump from highs of 3 billion to highs of 90 billion and managed to reach Pit 127 as a result. Still pitiful damage compared to a Spirit Born, sadly.

Helltide boss summons are hilariously broken too, dropping hundreds of cinders per run. Totally fun, but too bad my character is past where those drops are useful.
Patch brought back some technical issues as well. I had frame generation on, from previously, and I was getting massive, man I don't even know what to call it, but it seemed as if every few seconds I was seeing a previous frame on top of the current frame. It wasn't tearing, I just dont know how else to describe it. Turning off frame gen resolved this. I dont get how they can have so many issues literally everytime they drop a patch.
So far watching the usual suspects breaking down the builds, it looks like almost every class has really solid builds that will plow through endgame. Save of course for the Sorc, who once again just doesn't have the output of the rest of them despite more buffs. I'm trying to decide between a Barb or Druid this go around. I think a lot of people will be playing the broken Necro blood wave build that has been doing 1,000T damage output at the high end.
Man, I have not been paying much attention at all, other then watching DatModz go over the season last week. Been playing nothing but POE2. Looks like it might be time to switch things up for a week or two. I need to take a look at the builds out there, but I always tend to start of with rogue, except last season obviously.
Well I managed to do a Pit 120 (Barbarian) without any kind of fishing before the season ends. I guess that would put me around #25ish among all Barbs in the Pit leaderboards if I bothered to record it or something. Probably could crawl to 123 to 125 if I tried to fish for the right Pit, but that seems too annoying.
Yeah, same. It'll nice to just turn off the brain and run around popping demons for a bit. Chasing gear in POE 2 can get exhausting after a while.
Having a good time with the Barb so far. I will however say that I feel like they misplaced a decimal on the shields that the Enraged Headless Husks have, because man does that take some effort to burn off. I'm never in danger, but it's just a slog.
I've been enjoying the season as well. Currently in T1 with a barrage build until i get the parts for rain of arrows. Yeah, those shields are a pain, but once the poison gets cooking on them, they go down pretty quick.
PSA: They made it where you don't have to repeat the class quest at 15 if you've done it previously. HOWEVER, you need to log in with a character that had previously completed it for it to count for your new character.
Ah yes good. I built out the HOTAQuake Barb only to find that the Mountain's Fury chest is bugged and is not doing the damage it's supposed to. Guess I'll shelve this guy until they fix it lol.

I gotta say, the armory addition is one of the best things they've done so far. Kinda sad to say that about something that should have been in the game from the very start though. But oh man, trying different builds is just so simple now, it's awesome.
I've been having more fun now that I transitioned from HOTAQuake to WWQuake on my Barb. But I'm also already starting to get bored of the content. The new seasonal is just a reskinned helltide, and the witch powers aren't interactive at all so they don't really add anything interesting. I'll probably just go my usual route of finishing off the battle pass and seasonal journey and then call it. I do hope they at least look into making their season more than just a mini-storyline and then reskinning an already established mechanic, because otherwise I'm not sure how many more seasons I'll be willing to play.
Season 7 is my favorite so far.
There are no resource lock-ins yet (P 208) where you must grind like crazy to get ahead. Gold isn't even any sort of issue, which.. is good but also weird. STILL... I have had fun this season and will play some more.
This is also the first season where I get somewhat regular Mythic Unique drops. Sure, it has happened before, but I am now seeing on average about 1 drop every other day, and it makes the game more accessible to me. Now, I'm playing way too much and it eats into my sleep, so it's not like casual play will drop those every other day, but it feels way better than previous seasons.
I have to yet get to endgame but so far, I have been happier playing towards that goal. I think Blizzard did really well this season.

The amount of technical problems in this and the previous season have been unforgivable.
This season alone, the portal crash problem is mind bending.... What horrid QA process do they have in place, particularly for a $billion$ dollar company.
It's unacceptable and I've been not wasting time trying to make D4 'work', as much as I've wanted to play S8.
The kind of one they'd have in place to become a $billion$ dollar company - the minimum to get it out the door to the actual testers.
The few hundred thousand, or couple million at most, saved on QA aren't what made Blizz/Activision a billion dollar company.

I am having an issue on my laptop, I teleport to black screens.. porting to town.. logs say some out of order heartbeats.
I changed quite a few settings, nothing works.. I suspect its an AMD thing (laptop runs a 9700S GPU)

I finished the season journey a couple days ago, enough to get the pet, but I am not going for 100%. I just dont care to do 25 boss kills in a group. Took a bit longer due to playing around with different builds (thanks armory!) and stopping for a few days for the D3 season, but I'm playing a Death Trap Rogue and it is a ton of fun, so I might give it through the weekend/until Avowed hits full release next week. I will say, the last two drivers from Nvidia, 572.16 and the hotfix, 572.24, are probably a couple of the worst driver releases I can remember. After about an hour of playing, and this wasnt just D4, everything would just slow down to a chug and I'd be lucky to get frames back up over 60 (4080 Super). I was starting to think something was wrong with the PC or I ended up with a bad windows update, but yesterday's release, 572.42, has resolved that problem. So yeah, be wary 
I have an Asus G14 2022 and am getting the same issues.
S7 was unplayable before the last patch and even now I'm still seeing the black screens and such, similar to what you describe.
Blood wave necro to start with and I had too many whisper caches, so took a druid up to 60 with the xp, kitted it out and Cataclysm is possibly even lazier than blood wave.

Some things about the game are just ULTRA frustrating, like nobody put any thought into it.
In the undercity, with a ROTA group, you specify what you're gonna do. Refinement, whatever... but there's a good number of assholes going into the ROTA who don't have those, pop another cheap one, then pretend there's some bug. Pathetic.
WHY does it not show what sigil (or whatever it's called) was used to open the dungeon? WHY? Am I missing something?

I've been saying this season after season.... It's preposterous at this point.
I've given up on S7 and I doubt I'll play S8 unless the technical issues are knocked out and there's some real adoption to the notes given from the PTR.
I've been playing Last Epoch in earnest lately and it's what D4 should've been. The crafting is amazing and the so far my only critique is the game is a little linear for the story line. Other than that, I'm enjoying myself FAR more than any season of D4.
Highly suggest people try Last Epoch, especially with a new season starting in mid-April.
They have an technical ID # for the problem, but 2 months and 3 major patches later, they still haven't addressed it.
I opened a ticket with Blizz support in my frustration and after going back and forth with them a bunch, they threatened to flag my account that I was abusing the ticketing system by continually re-opening the ticket when the issue wasn't resolved.
Blizzard is a fucking joke at this point and, like D3 initially, I'm probably over D4 for at least a year. When I came back to D3 eons later, it was a much more polished game, so hoping the same for D4, ultimately.
Have they gotten past their "so many people are leaving we have to make crisis maps of what we can and cannot ship" phase, or not yet?
