Note on this one: Deltarune will actually have more than four chapters (the assumption is seven, though I don't think that's been explicitly confirmed), but this release marks the first time that the game is actually going to cost money. The first two chapters have been available for free, while the next two are releasing at $24.99 for the set of 1-4. Future chapters will arrive as free updates to the paid package later on.Another delayed indie gem, Deltarune, a kinda-sequel to Undertale, purports to land all four chapters of its parallel story on Switch 2 at the console's launch.
Playing outlaws on my PS5, but it would be perfect on the Switch...Very excited for the Nintendo titles shown.
As for third party, probably most excited to finally get to play Star Wars Outlaws.
Apparently that "Director's Cut" includes additional cutscenes, a co-op mode and an English dub. Fortunately, it sounds like it's only a timed exclusive.Yakuza 0
I’ve never owned a Nintendo and they’re relatively unknown in my part of the world. But I’ll definitely have to gift myself one for Xmas 2026. Just to play the two Zelda games & FromSoftware’s game.
i hope TP and WW also join switch 2 at some point heck they could probably package them with TOoT and MM...Metroid, and Switch 2 versions of TOTK and BOTW had me sold. Hard part will be getting one
I don't know where OP is from, but up until recently, even though people knew what a Mario is, Nintendo wasn't very much known in Turkey as a gaming platform. It is still not the phenomenon as in USA.You have me curious. Where do you live?
It was originally announced four years ago before Amazon bought MGM.Wait what.
Bond is coming? Amazon already farmed out the license? Damn.
Look, the current economic challengers are hitting everyone, even the Kongs. Difficult choices had to be made. Jobs for Kongs won out over protecting the environment when push came to shove.Looks like they cancelled Diddy from Donkey Kong, and now DK is... strip mining an island? Wasn't that what the kongs were protecting their island against - the kremlins exploiting their land?
There may be a new Mario game staged for the holidays, but given how Nintendo really wanted to sell the narrative of how third parties are wholly on board for Switch 2, I suspect anything about a proper Mario game would have overshadowed everything else. That's probably why the new Metroid was also just a blip on the screen this Direct.I'm also quite surprised not to see a new mainline 3D mario game. Mario Odyssey came out not long after the Switch 1 release, it feels like the timing is right for another entry.
Judging by the headline art, they've really shaken up the aesthetic for the remake of Majora's Mask.
, including the not-yet-released Pokémon Legends Z-A, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, and Civilization 7
Some are saying this might actually be the original Donkey Kong, now known as Cranky Kong, due to the different look.Looks like they cancelled Diddy from Donkey Kong, and now DK is... strip mining an island? Wasn't that what the kongs were protecting their island against - the kremlins exploiting their land?
And they tease you with Captain Falcon being in every Smash Bros title. Like, quit dilettanting around Saffron City, Captain; we need you on the track!A new F-Zero release is my personal Half Life 3. A man can dream...
The input lag made Switch the worst platform for Hollow Knight, by far. It would be quite the reversal for Switch 2 to be Silksong's launch platform.Silksong actually coming out would be big news, no matter the platform. all the Hollow Knight streamers will be foaming at the mouth!
In 2022 Xbox was the first to announce some form of exclusivity with Silksong. It will come out on Game Pass at launch too.The input lag made Switch the worst platform for Hollow Knight, by far. It would be quite the reversal for Switch 2 to be Silksong's launch platform.
All signs point to Bananza being developed by the same team as Odyssey, so there's your new Mario for ya.I'm also quite surprised not to see a new mainline 3D mario game. Mario Odyssey came out not long after the Switch 1 release, it feels like the timing is right for another entry.
They might announce something for the holiday season, but my guess is they will wait until 2026 to give Donkey Kong enough room to sell.I'm also quite surprised not to see a new mainline 3D mario game. Mario Odyssey came out not long after the Switch 1 release, it feels like the timing is right for another entry.
