I've had HA, Mosquitto, and Node-Red running as FreeNAS plugins for the last year, controlling a few lamps on WeMo smart plugs and my office RGBW LED strips and whatnot. Thinking about adding a Z-wave USB stick and door sensors for each external door in the near future.
