Downloading PDF files onto 4th-generation Kindle via USB cable

Based on my searching, I should be able to download normal PDF files onto a 4th-generation Kindle (model D01100) with a USB cable from my Windows machine. Can someone confirm this for me?

Yes, it's pretty easy. I've even found a 145-page manual for you. Read chapter 8: Kindle and Your Computer.

You can use a USB cable from your Windows machine. Just connect your Kindle to your computer, open the Kindle drive that appears, and then drag and drop the PDF files into the "documents" folder.
