I tried to locate the place you mentioned in your response, and I’m indeed editing with Notepad+.
I can find the part related to my character (I had already spotted it in my previous searches) as 'mainchar'. If I understand correctly, the second-to-last number before a new character is named refers to the STD.
If I found the right spot, I’m changing a value that was set to 2.85 to 0.
By doing this, my character seems to ignore the fact that they have the disease. However, when I test it with a character who was aware of my disease, the message still appears that they won’t go any further because they know about my disease :-(

Here is the copy-paste of the line I changed:
Before: "9073/clinic_visit/yes/9068/medical_check_up/yes/9236//4/2.85/5"
After: "9073/clinic_visit/yes/9068/medical_check_up/yes/9236//4/0/5"

After this little piece of copied text, we move on to the next line with another character.

I should clarify that this time I did find the two fields in the 'options' section where I need to change the values to zero! Which I have done correctly :)

Edit: I ended up starting a new game after all :) I did set both fields related to the disease to 0 right from the start in the options. However, at some point, the sister still announces the appearance of the disease. Is that normal because it’s programmed that way? So, even though the announcement happens, there won’t be any further development of the disease, right?

Also really like / want to like the game a lot but some things are confusing bordering on frustrating. Like exactly how my customer intake is working or popularity. I added a door cover that was less than everyones and that seemed to tank my popularity. I guess I'll have to lower it even further and see if it starts going back up, even though i lowered drink and meal prices.

In my case i also had my sister in the character list appearing with no option to contact her.
One day i got a message that my sister wants to move to the town but she needs money.
So you should do your business as usual until you get informed.

I had an idea, not sure if it would be a good one or not, but I was playing and a character came up. She's the one that puts both her hands over her private area when fully nude, which I hate by the way. The thing that struck me about her was that she looked like she may have Dwarfism, which made me think that a file of differently abled people might be a good idea. The diversity in this game is already amazing and if it was done in it's own file, players could choose whether they wanted to include it or not. Obviously care would have to be taken in choosing what disabilities to represent. I mean differently abled people exist in real life and have all the same needs as everyone else.

Also, while I'm not a fan of Futa myself, I know that some on here are and think that a separate file for this type of fetish could also be done for those that want that kind of content. I remember you saying that it would be difficult to turn every woman into a Futa, but you wouldn't need to do that, just make a small selection to include in the separate file for the folks that want it.

The real problem, as the dev put it, is that you would both need to implement custom logic for anything not binary-coded (f/m) and a custom naming sense for everything, which is a lot of work to satisfy a few fans. I would love for futanari to be included myself (or any other "special" character packs), but we will probably have to wait for some time.

Is anyone familiar with how to raise or reduce the MC Greed, Willpower, Sociability, Rationale and Compassion? Mostly concerned with greed and sociability tbh but these are kind of the only standouts as far as not being aware of how they change so far.

Liking the game a lot so far and can definitely feel the Lab Rats type inspiration. However, one big 'issue' I ran into is janitors seem a bit useless . (In addition to the lack of clarification/feedback on pricing and how that affects your customers and fame . Also hoping to see pregnancy occurring and some expansion on that later. The doctor visits /birth are a nice touch though)

They only come in during the day but dont work during the night while the club is still running?

Those stats cannot be altered in vanilla gameplay. If you want to change them, you need to do it via console commands ("cheat set_attr 3 soc 90" for example).

Wanting to do some achievements and using the male mc I tried to have sex with another male but using "I want to have sex with Darryl" then "Yes, inside his vagina" and finally "And with that, you release your sperm stream inside his vagina" Looks like Darryl is enjoying this! (and I think it works the same the other way around) were hermaphrodites added?

Thank you, I just selected the important ones to me first, I was just curious. Maybe hopefully in the future there will be some sort of events/activities that move those needles. I mean, something like donating to charity should lower your greed for instance.

Additionally to TotalFluke definitely need to add eat ass opinions and activities.

2nd question is about changing a character's sexuality. I read a lot, but still don't seem to get how to do it. I have an Asexual bartender and a few lesbian characters and I can't seem to figure out how to make them at least "bi". I tried making the asexual girl like "sex", but she's still asexual.

The difficulty with removing a room (or a character or any game object for that matter) is that there's a lot of dependencies that get created and removing them it's a ton of work (and it may break easily with any future changes). So not going to be doing that any time soon.

Make sure that you installed the patch posted a couple pages ago. It results in the game creating two copies of the second sister and never allowing her to be interacted with. In general, there's a 6-week period between when you hear from her and when she shows up in the game during which you can't interact with her. But because you are seeing two of them, I'm sure it's that you didn't install the patch. (You will need to go back to a pre-July 1st save game to continue after installing the patch).

Asexuals can't be changed. They are just there to annoy all of you :)

So you did everything right, you don't have the disease and you can't pass it to anyone. However, there's still a rumor going around that you had it. Getting rid of that will not be easy, so you will have to let it run it's course. Rumors go away after a while. This one takes 30 months to be forgotten which may be too long for you. If you want to get rid of it, you may try modifying the data/gossips.txt file and look for the "has_std" line. Chane the last number from 30 to 1. That will make it go away after one month. I think that should work. But not sure. You can try it and let me know if it did.

You tried to install it in an older version of the game. That patch was only for version 1.08. The patch is not needed for other versions. (You are now going to have to install the real 1.08 version and then the patch to fix it).

Yeah, I thought about doing more extreme bodies but then I feel that there needs to be content that acknowledges it. And that content has to be tied to the image somehow. Which presents some issues. And the other issue is that generating such images is hard. The AI process works best when there's a ton of content (i.e. images like that). These different bodies would not have that much to go from and result in lower quality images.

As for the futa, the issue is not generating a few images like that. (I mean the AI sucks at drawing male genitalia so that would be an issue), but again, it means that it needs to be part of too many interactions. Like in every situation someone undresses I have to account for the possibility that the person is a futa and the other person doesn't know it. So it's a lot of content to create. In some ways is similar to the pregnancy stuff, except that it will be much less common and much more significant.

Those attributes can not be changed. They are the core traits of a person that define their personality.

Janitors are not useless! If you don't clean your club it will get very dirty and the fame will go down and people will stop coming and no one will want to work in it. Seriously, the janitors are like the 3rd most important person you need to hire. (You can do the maintenance yourself for a while, but eventually you won't be able to keep up). They come during the day cause you don't want someone vaccuming the club while you are open!

Kind of a technical question, not sure if it qualifies as a bug report - how are "younger/older" opinions supposed to work? The description in the help file indicates that it should be based on pure relative age (not age grouping like the images rely on), but it does not seem to actually be applying everywhere it should be. Example: my character is 22, one bartender is 23 with likes:Young at 1, and shows a 3.8 opinion mod listed for it. MC's sister is 25 with the same level of like and no opinion modifier shown, while another commissioner age 35 has likes:Young 1 as well and does display the modifier, and my janitor age 30 has the *same* level and fails to display any opinion mod.

Should I be bothering to grind this opinion onto older characters or is there some other modifier I am not seeing that prevents it from applying? Worth noting the sister started with Incest:0 without my intervention, so in theory that should not be blocking it from applying in her case. If I find 18 year olds, would giving them likes:Older apply that modifier to basically everyone else in the game?

Janitors are there for a long time atm. Also the times don't really work as most of them should be a school/college when they are at work. Most cleaning in UK pubs/clubs happens either directly after the pub/club shuts or starts somewhere between 7 and 10am, depending on if they open at midday or earlier for lunch/open all day. I realise it's just a game, a lot of years working in the field it so its a me problem probably! ;)

Yeah Janitors are massively important. Otherwise, you end up spending two time cycles a day cleaning instead of actually doing things that are fun.

On a related note, I've noticed that the last couple of times I started over, the storage room didn't get completed until March, despite me starting the process on Jan 1 and it says that it takes 41 days. Is this something that's variable?

Interesting game with great potential. But the more I play it, the more I start to feel like some kind of outcast. Unlike the rest of the characters, I can't get married, I'm homeless and have to live in my office, I can't even organize a party with friends at least once a year on my birthday, and so on. But these are all small things. The most disappointing thing is that I was deprived of the opportunity to react and influence the events taking place in the game. I'll give just one example: if, with the help of a private investigator or in any other way, you find out that your girlfriend cheated on you, you won't even be able to talk to her about it. Whether this conversation will lead to positive results or make things worse is another matter, but you should have the opportunity. Now you have only two options: either leave your girlfriend, or silently accept her betrayal and pretend that everything is fine. Unfortunately, there are quite a lot of such strange situations in the game, when events occur, but you can't react to them in any way.

I remember in an earlier playthrough I started two rooms of the same type on the same day (one tick apart obviously) and they finished at different times, so there certainly is some RNG. Working for an employer who builds a lot of stuff I can say that that is not even unrealistic as such though. (I used console cheats and a modified data file in that playthrough, however I guess that should not influence this situation.)

Yeah, the "cannot confront a cheating partner yourself" bugged me too. My own sister cheated on me, can you imagine?

Dunno. I like me a harem, and by extension a harem mansion, as much as the next guy. However, specifically in this game I think it would take something away from the feel. It would make the girls feel less independent when part of the charm of this game (at least for me) is the "everybody does stuff on their own behalf" open world mechanic.

To a point sure. But with no marriage, no "housewife/torphywife" options. No secretary roles you could hire them to, there is lacking a more in depth "we're in a relationship" aspect. And a house for women to frequent would give you some of that.

Personally I would love for nothing more than to buy a house where the entire family with spouses, or singular......, could reside.

And speaking of. Allthose crotch devils being pumped out, while we just ship them off to god knows where, a school to be funded and supported could be a perfect lategame money drain. Heck have an achievement for having donated enough to get it named after the MC. Despite the games going into the years,highschool prolly won't be an issue, but daycare/elementary school would be a good way to use some extra cash from the business.
